Mastering Lateral Floats

​

1. Offense must float laterally a minimum of two times
2. Defense must move laterally with the offensive player without moving forward
3. Once the offensive player moves forward the game is live
4. Offensive player has a maximum of three dribbles outside of the lateral floats

Transition Attack

1. Two defenders, first defender starts at the top of the key secondary defender starts midline in front of the rim
2. Game starts when coach passes the ball to the offensive player which starts at half court
3. On the flight of the ball, the secondary defender must touch the break of the three point line
4. Once the offensive player touches the ball, the 7 second shot clock starts

Neutral Stance 1-VS-1

Focus: Having the ability to quickly finding your feet to be an offensive threat

1. Offensive player starts in a neutral stance with a live dribble
2. As soon as the feet of the offensive player moves the game is live
3. Defender cannot move until the feet of the offensive player moves
4. 7 second shot clock once the game is live

Two Shot Trace

Two Shot Trace

1. Drill focus is shooting while on the move
2. Great drill to end workouts with, that wll test focus and "4th quarter legs".
3. Trace the three point line for shot one, Immediately change directions and trace the three point line for shot two
4. If player makes two in a row, they immediately repeat the drill

Two Ball Partner Series

1. Incorpates dexterity
2. Having the ability to process and react
3 Can be performed stationary or with movement
